Following Jesus – Meeting the World – Evangelism, Christian Living, & Sharing the Gospel | Class 6
Following Jesus
Class 06
Class 06
How should Christians live and speak in a world that doesn’t know Christ?
In this Core Seminar – Class 6: Meeting the World, we explore what it means to live in the world but not of the world, and how every Christian—especially new believers—is called to faithfully represent Christ through both holy living and clear gospel proclamation.
This class covers:
• What the Bible means by “the world” and God’s kingdom
• How Christian speech, conduct, and work serve as a witness
• Why living a good life is not enough without verbal evangelism
• What evangelism truly is (and what it is not)
• Why sharing the Gospel is commanded by Christ
• Common fears that prevent Christians from evangelizing
• The role of obedience, love, and trust in God’s power to save
• Practical guidance for faithful, clear, and biblical evangelism
You’ll be encouraged to see evangelism not as a special calling for a few, but as a normal part of the Christian life, rooted in love for God and compassion for the lost.
📖 Key Scriptures include John 17, Romans 12:2, Matthew 5:16, Matthew 28:18–20, Romans 10, and more.
This teaching is ideal for:
• New Christians
• Church membership or core seminars
• Anyone wanting biblical clarity on evangelism
• Believers struggling with fear or uncertainty in sharing the Gospel
